My friend Mat got hit by a truck while crossing the street after getting off a city bus last night. Now he's in the hospital, Debra says he's in the ICU, but we just got a regular room number when we looked for him. I hope he's OK.
Update: We've determined that miss Debra doesn't know shit. We have, however, determined that Mat's about as okay as a guy who got hit by a truck two days ago can be.
