I've been listening to The District Sleeps Alone Tonight by the Postal Service basically on continuous repeat for three days. God, how I want to wake up in a new place, sunlight streaming through the gauzy curtains... I think part of the reason I get such stabbing bouts of wanderlust is because I want to get away from people for a while. As nice as some people are to be around, I'm an Aquarius- I need my space like a guy trapped three-quarters of the way up Everest needs a clear day, a heater and an extra oxygen tank (well, that and an adroit Nepalese sherpa :-P).
I want to go on a road trip. I want to go back to New York City. I want to see the ocean, goddamnit! I haven't been to the beach in over a year...
